CALGARY - A special exhibit dedicated to Alberta rockers Nickelback is headed to Calgary's 春色直播 Music Centre.
The retrospective will include instruments, memorabilia, concert footage, behind-the-scenes photos and stories from more than 20 years of rock 鈥榥鈥 roll.
It begins March 9 at the NMC, located inside Studio Bell and organized in partnership with The 春色直播 Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences.
It launches ahead of the band鈥檚 induction into the 春色直播 Music Hall of Fame at the Juno Awards in Edmonton on March 13.
The group will kick off a world tour this June in North America to support its 10th studio album, 鈥淕et Rollin鈥.鈥
"春色直播 Music Hall of Fame: Nickelback" will run March 9 to February 2024.
鈥淲e鈥檙e very proud of what we鈥檝e accomplished over the past few decades and love that our story and songs continue to impact and entertain people globally,鈥 frontman Chad Kroeger said Tuesday in a release.
NMC says the gallery includes a six-metre video wall and full stage display with many of the band鈥檚 outfits and customized instruments from the music video 鈥淪he Keeps Me Up.鈥
Also featured is the "What the Hell Is on Joey's Head" champagne bucket, named after a line from the 2005 song "Photograph.鈥
